For anyone that wants to earn money doing offers and surveys online, this “live” contest is a great place to get started as you can earn extra money. This month it takes place on January 23, 2012 during the hours of 7:00 PM and 11:00 PM Eastern Time Zone in America.

Nine times out of ten there are newbies on it who get all excited because they put up a one page website on a free blogging platform like Blogger or Webs.com. They have copied and pasted the their whole page from the CashCrate website with some tutorials or tips and tricks. They then tell the reader they can make a lot of money by signing up.

On the forum this type of person is often complaining that their site has been up for a day, a week, or a month and it gets no traffic and no referrals. They are complaining because they don’t know what is wrong.

Well let me tell you what is wrong: You put up a stupid one page website that has the same regurgitated information on it that 1,000′s of other one page spam sites have. Yes, your site is spam and even if you could get someone to go to your site there is no way they would ever stay for more than 1 second.

You provide no picture proof. You provide no video proof (CashCrate payment proof). You provide no story. You provide no originality. Your blog has no character.  You provide no reason for anyone to sign up and your blog is nothing more than one page of spam. That is why you will never get any referrals even if you did know how to get traffic to your blog.

Making money from referrals for online surveys for money is NOT EASY like you want it to be. You need to learn how to get traffic to your blog and those people you get have to want to make money.

But before you spend any time learning how to do that, you need to learn how to write something that people will actually want to read. You need to learn how to sell things….it doesn’t just happen magically. Most of all you need to make some money with CashCrate yourself first so you can prove to people it is legitimate. If you can’t prove to them you make money on it, why on earth would they ever sign up?

One of the big problems I see people making is that they are from some country other than America and they are NOT targeting Americans. That means they are only doing business in the USA and are only interested in Americans doing their offers.

If you are from Africa, Europe, Great Britain, the Philippines, Australia, or any other place in the world, the best way for you to make money at CashCrate is to do referrals. BUT YOU HAVE TO GET AMERICAN REFERRALS! Only American referrals will count and that means you need to target USA Internet users. How do you do this?

You need a blog or a website that is listed high in Google for your keywords in America. Most of the time if you live in another country, you spend most of the time surfing websites that are in your own country. If you are on http://www.google.it/ (Google Italy) for example, different sites are listed than on Google USA.

Additionally, if you are handing out fliers, business cards, or getting friends from your country YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME. Remember, referrals only work for the USA so promoting to your friends or anyone else in your country is not going to work. YOU NEED REFERRALS FROM THE USA!

CashCrate is something you can sign up for free and they will never ask for your money. Now, you can do paid offers that do require a credit card but THAT IS YOUR CHOICE AND YOU DON’T HAVE TO DO THEM.

The bottom line is though that CashCrate is one of the totally legitimate websites where you can get paid for surveys and doing other things. If you want to make money online, you have to start somewhere and Cash Crate is a great place to start. It all begins when you get your first real check they will send you after you make your first $20.00. It is at that point that a light bulb will go off in your head as you realize that it is real money and that you can make more of it every month!
