HOW HARD IS IT TO MAKE CASHCRATE REFERRALS AND MONEY ONLINE?

Here is a question I got on another post. I will answer it here in this post but pretty much I am going to type fast and ramble:

Ca

This question is typical of the frustration of anyone just starting out trying to make money online. Not only is there tons of confusion about what to do, but if they do continue on and work hard, will it all pay off? Will their blog ever make money? Will anyone ever see it?

It is easy to get discourged and that right there is why most people quit. Much of it has to do with the keywords you target. If you target something too competitive, you will never make it to the first page of Google. If you target something too easy, you will get to the top but there may be no one searching for those keywords and that is why it was easy to get there. Either way you may never get any search traffic and it is all because of the words you targeted.

Of course that is all if you even know what keywords are and know how to plan a blog with a specific course of action. People who are in tune with current events and the things happening around them are best able to make money online. They are able to figure out what words people are searching for.

Take my blog that you are reading and look at the content I have written. It contains tons of content by most people’s standards (47 posts I think) and now I am really trying to figure out what direction to go. I have mentioned this before but it seems like I may have targeted some bad keywords like online surveys for money. I don’t want to go into my whole thought process for this blog but right now I have spent more time than it was worth.

However, I still have an asset. I have a blog that is getting older by the day (that is good) and it has a PR 2. I can use it for link exchanges and I can also change course at any time and target different keywords. Just because it is not producing right now like I want it too doesn’t mean it is and always will be a failure.

My advantage is that I know I can make money online and most beginners don’t know that. I know that not every blog I make will be a success and that is why I have many blogs. Most of you have one blog and all your eggs are in that one basket.

Back to the readers question: you should write at least 4 more Ezine articles and link to your main page for one link and an inner page for the second link using anchor text. You need to get your Hub score above 75 and keep it there. You need to write more content for your site. And after that you need more content again. The more you write, the more words Google has to pick from when looking at your site. Sometimes people search for things you would have never thought of and if you have tons of content on your blog, maybe those combinations of words are there.

You can write guest posts for other people’s blogs and they will let you put in a do-follow anchored link or two to your blog. That is why you need a good looking blog with MORE content so that other blog owners will accept your posts. You would need to save your best writing for those guest posts so they are accepted. Don’t just ask anyone though: find a blog that has a little PR or some authority and has been around a while. Try this one as I and many others have done guest posts here:  http://moneymakerinfo.blogspot.com/. But you need a bigger blog before you do that so you have some credibility.

Finally, you need to find people to exchange links with. This is hard but if you have the guts it will help you greatly to contact other blogs and try to work out 3 way exchanges. That is why it is smart to have 2 or 3 blogs for every niche you have and to make them look better than some of the crappy CashCrate blogs that are out there.

If you want to see an example of a successful blog please see my review of make money online free and click through to Trini’s blog. She has turned that into a money making blog that anyone would like to exchange links with. Look at the work she has done there.

The reader who asks this question has a blog that has about 3 posts and is brand new. Seriously, if anyone thinks they can slap up three posts and a few articles, they need to go back and read my whole blog again. IT ISN’T EASY AND YOU HAVE TO DO TONS OF WORK AND IT MIGHT NOT PAY OFF FOR SIX MONTHS! In fact, if you target too competitive keywords, you might never get any traffic. That is why 99 out of 100 fail and give up. Sorry, but its true.

The reality is that the only way you will ever succeed is to keep on trying and keep targeting different keywords. You have to slap things up against the wall and see what sticks. Did I mention that just about every CashCrate blog I have seen is NOT A BLOG and need more original content? If you can’t put up some original content then your chance of making money online is pretty slim.

BTW, I might be trying some things and looking for new keywords on this blog very soon myself. You might see some weird posts that don’t teach you much.

MAKING MONEY WITH CASHCRATE REFERRALS IS NOT A SCAM

The reality is that you are not going to make a killing, or even a full time income taking online surveys for money. There are seemingly 100’s of paid online surveys sites and it is impossible to tell the good ones from the bad ones without doing some research first. Even when you do find the ones that are legitimate, it is unlikely that you will be able to make more than $20 to $50 per month by doing just the surveys.

Many people overcome this by signing up to many survey sites and maxing out each one every month. They don’t all have exactly the same offers and surveys so it is possible to make $20 on one site, $30 on another survey site, and maybe even $50 on a third one. The more sites you sign up for, the more opportunities you have to make money. Many people are perfectly happy doing surveys and offers every month and they can make a consistent $100 to $200 that way and maybe even more with some hard work.

Making money with paid online surveys is slow and methodical if you have the patience to do it. CashCrate though, gives you the opportunity to make a lot more by referring other people to the site and having them join up. For that they will give you a “finders fee” which can, for the more successful referrers, add up to a lot more than they could ever make by just doing the surveys.

This is the way the world works if you think about it. If you spend your time trying to refer other people to CashCrate, you are really a salesperson on commission. There are hundreds of millions of people in the world who make their living by selling things or trying to convince someone to buy something. Next time you are out and about, look around you and discover all the people in sales.

The person at Nordstrom or any other department store who brings you your shoe selections is in sales. In fact, almost all people on the floor of any store you walk into are there to try to make you happy, show you where things are, and try to get you to buy things. Think of every ad you have ever heard, read, or seen on any media outlet. Media in general is all about advertising and trying to get you to buy something.

The bank teller you go to is probably constantly trying to “cross sell” you some other product the bank has.  Waiters and waitresses at restaurants will always ask you if you want apetizors first even though the portions of the main dishes are so big that most people can’t finish them. Even the person taking your order at McDonalds is in sales to the degree that they ask you if you want to “supersize” your order. They want you to buy more and spend more money.

By now you should realize that pretty much from the beginning of time, the world has revolved around advertising and getting people to do or buy what you want them to. CashCrate has one of the best paid online surveys sites and probably the best referral program of anyone so how is it a scam to promote it? Everything a person needs to succeed is there on the site either in the tutorials or the forum and any new member can get answers to all their questions.

There are many ways to make money on your computer but they all involve some degree of work. To be successful, you need to learn what your options are and what methods are best for you. Not everyone can make money online because not everyone has the writing ability and the computer knowledge to be successful. If you don’t have any skills though, there is no reason why you can’t learn everything you need to learn but you can’t expect overnight success. People claim CashCrate and other sites are scams out of frustration and their false belief that it should be easy to make money online.

If you are one of the ones who think CashCrate is a scam you should head over to the forum and find the “I Just Got Paid” thread. If CashCrate is a scam, then everyone in that forum is lying. Why would they do that? If there is no money to be made with these paid online surveys, why would everyone be lying about it?

INTERLINKING YOUR ONLINE FOR SURVEYS BLOGS

Much of this blog is about getting anchored backlinks to your survey blogs in order for them to rise up in the search rankings. One thing I haven’t mentioned much is interlinking the pages. Not only is it important to get links from other blogs and websites, but you can help your blog a lot by linking from page to page within your blog.

This is one of the reasons it is nice to have a real blog where you write things on a regular basis and have lots of posts as opposed to one of those one or two page pieces of crap most CashCraters put up. For instance, in this post I talk about lead generation and with that link, I have just told Google what that page is about. Links from within your blog count too and help give those pages authority that you link to.

The bigger your blog gets, the more opportunity you have to link from page to page. This is one thing that I admittadly don’t do well enough because it takes time and I am a bit lazy. For every post you write, you really should go back and link to anything relevant that you talk about in your new post. Likewise, you should go back and see if the post you have just written applies to anything you have already written and link from the old post to the new post.

These internal links help Google crawl your blog and help clearly identify what each page is about. It is hard to get link exchanges with other people and make secondary blogs all the time and many people overlook this simple thing they can do with their own blog to help with getting links.

The value of these internal links is not great but if you are in a niche with very little competition, they can help alot. Anyway, a link is a link and you should be doing anything and everything to get as many as you can if you want to make money with your online surveys for money blogs.

Finally, CashCrate is not one of the online surveys for money scams and I and many others have proven it month after month with the checks we get. CashCrate is a great survey site with the best referral program and that is what this blog helps you learn to take advantage of.

If you have not seen my CashCrate check proof, please take a look as it shows what you can do if you are willing to work hard at getting CashCrate referrals.

CASHCRATE BANNERS – PEOPLE DON’T CLICK ON THEM

If you have a CashCrate blog or any other kind of blog, you probably have some banners displayed on them somewhere. Most newbies set up a blog, write one post, and then plaster the rest of the page with banners. Well guess what, banners don’t get clicks and the clicks they do get, don’t convert.

I know that many banners you see are cool looking and some they might even look good on your blog. How can people not click them, you ask? They look so…so…click-able. The fact is though, that there is something called banner blindness and it is very, very real.

If you are hawking any of the online surveys for money sites on your blog, you are probably tempted to put up the banners. If you ever get a blog with traffic you might even be able to sell the ad space. But data has always shown that banner ads are some of the worst converting methods of getting affiliate sales. People who pay for these banners are usually just giving their money away.

Once you get to the Silver referral level with CashCrate, you will have access to “CashCrate Pro” which has some additional tools to help you to create multiple referral links, monitor conversion rates, and it shows clicks and signups. What you can do is set up a special link for each of your banners and you can prove to yourself how useless they are. You will find that they hardly ever get clicks and almost never a sign up.

So then, if banners don’t work for getting referrals, how do some people get so many? Besides getting laser targeted traffic to their blogs (this means people who want to make money or need money), they get people to sign up for CashCrate through the texlinks in the sentences. People are much more willing to click text links than they are banners which they often totally ignore.

If you don’t believe this then I suggest you check it out on your own blog. Set up your banners so they have one or more of the custom links in CashCrate Pro. Then, set your text links to some of the other custom links and compare which does better. You will find that although your banners look great, they perform very, very poorly.

Another thing is to pay attention to your own habits online. Chances are that you click a lot more text links than you do banners. Most people totally ignore all banners just like they do while they are walking down the street. You know they are there but you also know they are an advertisement so you ignore them.

HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH LEAD GENERATION WEBSITES

Please take a look at my CashCrate check proof to see how much money you could make by getting referrals for CashCrate. This blog is about how to make money online and will show you how to work up to getting a big check like that one from referrals.

 _________________________________________________________________________

You can try to make money doing paid online surveys or you can try to make a lot more money with lead generation. The art of getting CashCrate referrals is nothing more than online lead generation: you get leads for CashCrate and in turn they pay you a small commission. CashCrate is compensating you to go out and bring back potential customers to them. This is, in a nutshell, what affiliate marketing is all about.

CashCrate isn’t the only online surveys for money site that has a referral program and beyond surveys, there are thousands of other companies that you can make money generating leads for. This is why learning how to get CashCrate referrals is really learning how to make money online. If you can figure out how to successfully make lots of referrals for CashCrate, you will then have the knowledge of how to make money doing the same thing for other companies and “niches”.

When I get asked how I make money online I tell people I have a few websites and make money from them. People then invariably jump to the conclusion that I sell something (Ebay always comes to mind) as they have no idea that you can make money without having or selling a physical product. Usually the more I explain, the more confused they get as they just can’t grasp the idea of getting paid to lead someone to a product.

Lead generation is nothing more than another form of advertising. Advertising in one form or another has been around since the beginning of man and it is what makes the Internet tick. People seem to understand the concept of advertising on television, radio, and print media but they begin to get confused when confronted with the different types of advertising online.

The online world is different from any other media in that it is more immediate and produces results right away. When a company places an ad on TV, they are merely getting the word out and increasing brand awareness. They don’t make any immediate sales as a person viewing the ad would have to actually go somewhere where the product is sold and then buy it.

The online world is different in that it is both the viewing medium and the store. If you have an ad on the Net, someone can see the ad and immediately decide to buy the product right then and there. This opens up the opportunity for advertisers to make a lot of money and know exactly where that money is coming from. It lets them get detailed feedback right away as to whether an advertisement is working or not. The offline world of advertising involves a lot of guesswork and delayed numbers as to efectiveness while the online world gives an advertiser immediate and detailed results.

Since detailed tracking is possible online, the world of affiliate marketing has opened up where someone can get compensated for sending customers to a product or service of a company. This is what CashCrate referrals are and their affiliate prgram is one of the best for affiliates. If you doubt that please take a look at a couple of my CashCrate checks as proof of the amount of money that can be made.

The Cash Crate affiliate program is run in house but many other affiliate programs are run through a second party affiliate network. Market Leverage is one such network that has many different affiliate programs under it and that makes it very easy to have a wide variety of things to promote. They have a check sent to your address every month by FedEx which goes way beyond what other networks do. When you start to reach the level where you want to promote things in other niches besides paid surveys, I recommend Market Leverage as one of the first networks you should sign up with. (it is free to sign up of course as they want your business)

Online lead generation can make you some very good money if you understand how to get targeted visitors to your blog(s) that are interested in the subject at hand. Much of this blog has been written to help you understand what you must do to make that happen. If you want to learn more about how to start earning money with CashCrate, please go to the beginning of this blog and read it from the start.

HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH KEYWORDS FOR BEGINNERS

What are keywords and how can they make you money? If you are looking for ways to get your blog about CashCrate or online surveys for money seen by people, you need to do some keyword research first. What you need to find are the most searched keywords with the least competition.

Simply put, keywords are words or combinations of words that are used more than others. For instance, if you told 100 people to search online for information about making money with online surveys, you would find they type in a whole bunch of different words into Google. Perhaps as many as 75 of the 100 people might type in something totally different than everybody else. However, the remaining 25 might have some similar choices.

Out of those last 25, you might have 2 that are the same, 3 that are also something the same, 7 that are the same, and finally the last 13 might all be the same exact words that people used to do their research. So the last 25 might look something like this:

make money surveys – 13 people
online surveys- 7 people
how to make money surveys- 3 people
surveys for money- 2 people

Those 4 keyword phrases are what you would want to investigate and depending on the competition, you might want to try to get ranked for them. There are many free and paid keyword tools online but the two I use are G Trends and Adwords Keyword Tool which are both free.

As I have stated many times, most CashCraters don’t have a clue about keywords and by default try to get ranked for the word “CashCrate” or some other variation. This is not a good strategy as I have proven that there not a lot of money in the keyword “CashCrate”.

One tactic commonly used to get ranked for CashCrate is to buy a domain name with the word “CashCrate” in the URL. Although this may work for a week or two and your new blog may even get to the first page, you will suddenly disappear because you have no BACKLINKS. You need anchored backlinks to get your blogs to Google’s front page and for them to stay there. Simply buying a domain name with the word in it is not enough because there is too much competition. If you want to learn about anchored backlinks you need to read more of this blog as I can’t cover the same material over and over.

You should spend a lot of time trying to figure out different keywords to shoot for. Once you decide on some keywords, you then need to write posts with those keywords in the title and body of the post. You then need to get anchored backlinks using those keywords. You then need to write more posts with those keywords in them and then get more backlinks. Eventually, if you have chosen keywords that are not too competitive, you will see some movement in your blog in the SERPS. Making money on the Internet and with online surveys for money referrals is not easy. If you keep at it though, you will eventually start to see some progress and more hits for your blogs.

HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH OR WITHOUT BULLSHIT

So you are trying to make money online and more specifically, you are trying to make money with your CashCrate blog(s). Today I am going to tell you about an advanced theory that blew my mind when I first heard about it.

The concept is that you have a choice when you start a blog and write posts for it: you can try to make money with or without bullshit.

Most of you might know the “without bullshit” part which means you write the best blog posts you can in an effort to entice your reader to sign up for something. You want to sound credible and give a good review of the product or service in the hopes of convincing your reader to click through to sign up. Your blog is the written pretty much as well as you can because you want to sound professional. This blog, for instance, is pretty much “without bullshit” as most of the writing is done a bit deliberately and meant to be read and followed (even though most readers don’t give a shit and click away because all they want are quick CashCrate referrals the easy way because they are lazy).

The other way to make money online with blogs is by writing bullshit. For this you really need to use Adsense, Chitiqa, Yahoo publisher ads or maybe even some affiliate products but probably NOT CashCrate. You will be composing blog content that is not your best writing and quite general in nature. This works well for many niches like home improvement, gardening and many others where you can write very unspecific posts about a topic and never answer the readers question. The longer the posts the better and the more boring they are the better too.

The goal here is to write accurate yet long and boring posts that will bore the hell out of the reader and have them trying to get out as fast as they can. Many will hit the “back” button but some will click on an Adsense ad or an affiliate ad just to get out. Rather than wanting people to stay and read what you have to say, you WANT them to leave…preferably through one of your ads.

Most CashCrate blogs I see are not really either of these two options. They are just a page or two of copied verbage from the CashCrate site. Those will never get referrals which is why there are threads started everyday in the forum whining about “I can’t get any referalls, booo hoo hoooo”. Well if you got off your butt and started writing and putting some EFFORT into your blog and got anchored backlinks, you might get somewhere.

BTW even though I don’t care and there are not many hits to be had for the word “CashCrate‘, this blog is now often on the first page of Google for that term. And where are all the blogs that actually have “CashCrate” in the URL? Several people bragging in the forum about buying URLs with great CashCrate names. Where are you guys? No where to be found! Oh, THAT’S BECAUSE YOU DON’T HAVE ANY OPTIMIZED POSTS AND ANCHORED BACKLINKS!

As I mentioned earlier, the bullshit strategy is probably NOT a good strategy to get online surveys for money referrals for sites such as CashCrate. For that type of referral you want to convince your reader through your honest writing or through payment proof in the form of check pictures and videos that good money can be made. CashCrate is legitimate and you can make a lot of money with them which is what you will be trying to prove to your reader. You can’t prove anything with bullshit so use that for one of your other niches.

BLOGGERS ARE NOT INTERNET MARKETERS

but some Internet marketers are bloggers. Much has been made about blogging, Internet marketing, and making money blogging. There are so many millions of blogs out there and most of them have nothing to do with making money and in fact don’t make any money.

The casual blogger puts up a family blog of photos or their life’s journey and they have no intention of ever making money. Yet other bloggers and potential bloggers have heard about blogging for a living and easy money making by blogging and so they set out to try to do it. Unfortunately for them, they have no clue how it’s done and have all the wrong expectations.

I am not a blogger but I do make money blogging. Does that make sense? I have a lot of blogs (including this one) and on none of them do I ever want to become well known, famous, or have a huge following. Really, I don’t care about anything other than making money. The blogs, and blogging, are the instruments I make money with and nothing more. All I care about is learning how to make money and getting more CashCrate referrals.

I am an Internet marketer and not a blogger. I set up a blog and from the first post I try to strategically figure out what to write about, what keywords to use, how to get links, and how to get traffic. If I do succeed in getting traffic, then and only then does the fun start. Once I get traffic I then can figure out how to monetize it. Of course I have an idea before hand of what I will do but sometimes things change.

Being an Internet marketer instead of a blogger means that I pay special attention to figuring out what affiliate products to sell, where to put the ads, where to put the Adsense ads if I have them, and all things to do with ad placement and making money. Each blog is a big puzzle and when you get traffic to it you need to be able to figure out how to capitalize on that traffic and turn it into money. Internet marketing is a business and blogging is just how I do my business. With each new blog I begin, I am starting a small business online, or at least I am trying to.

Many of the CashCrate newbies set out to make a blog as they hear that is the best way to get referrals. CashCrate tends to get a young audience and many of them are teenagers and people in their 20’s. Blogging for 15 year olds is not something many of them want to do or have any interest in. All they end up doing is copying and pasting a few things from the CashCrate website and putting them on their “blog”. They think that is enough to get paid online surveys referrals but you can’t make money being lazy.

Blogging can be a business if you set out to make it a business and get search engine traffic. You can make a lot of money with the right kind of targeted traffic but you can’t make much money from return visitors which is what most bloggers are hoping for. The standard make money blogger hopes to create a following and become so popular that everyone will buy affiliate products from him. This is a dream that will never happen to 99% of the bloggers out there. Yet they are too naive to ever recognize this and they keep on trying.

Do you want to make money or do you want to be a blogger? That is the question you need to answer before you go to far with your blog. If you are writing blog posts and hoping they get Tweeted, Stumbled, and Digged, then you are a blogger and are not going down the right path to making money. If you want to learn how to make money blogging, then you need to learn about keywords, keyword research, getting links, on and off page SEO. You need to also learn how to sell things to your readers.

THERE IS NO MONEY IN THE KEYWORD “CASHCRATE”

I’ve written before about how you need to make blogs about other target audiences and not concentrate on the keyword “CashCrate”. If you go to my post here about why you don’t make any money online and look at #4, you will see that I have stressed the importance of NOT making a CashCrate blog.

If you want to make money online and with paid online surveys, you need to target audiences that HAVE NEVER HEARD OF CASHCRATE! Do any of you understand that?

Whenever I take a peek at the CashCrate forum, I see newbie after newbie bragging about their new blog which proudly has the name CashCrate in it and is a one or two page piece of spam blog. I guess their goal is to get lots of hits from people searching for CashCrate if they have any plan at all which they don’t.

I have proof that there is NO MONEY IN THE KEYWORD “CASHCRATE”. In other words, even if you are successful and get to the top of Google for that word (which you won’t), there are not enough people searching for it to make it worthwhile.

The proof is in this post from Broke Grad Student where he writes about having made $1000.00 with CashCrate. He shows his payouts for 2009 which total $594.70 and that is great accept that I sometimes make that in ONE WEEK and he did it in 7 MONTHS! (see my CashCrate check proof and note that very few if any of my referrals come from this blog)

Now if you do a Google search for the word ”CashCrate” you will see that Broke Grad Student is in position #3 (and #4)  for that term that everyone is chasing so hard. (see below)  His blog has been in that 3rd position for quite some time and all he has gotten out of it is $594.70 and that proves there are very few searches for “CashCrate”!

CC

This blog has also briefly been on and off the first page for CashCrate and I have hardly gotten any hits at all. So, before you run out and make a new blog, figure out some other strategy and make a blog about people who need money. Make your blog about college students or out of work workers or any other segment of the population that needs some extra income. Target those keywords and when you start getting people who need money or want money, then you start selling them the CashCrate paid online surveys opportunity.

LAZY PEOPLE CAN’T MAKE MONEY ONLINE

Almost everyone who has read this blog to date is too lazy to make money online. Yes, there are a handful of you (probably 10 or less) who aren’t lazy and are really trying to make money with paid online surveys by getting referrals, but the rest who come and go will never make it. I also noticed that there is one person on the CashCrate forum that keeps asking the same types of beginner questions over and over and over. Guess what? Stupid people can’t make money online either. If you are stupid or cannot learn, you will never make any money on or offline. Sorry, just keeping it real as they say.

Have you ever wondered why money making online scams keep fooling people year after year? Have you ever wondered why there are so many scams online? It is a simple answer really: it is because they work. And why do they work? Because people are lazy and want the easy way out. They are convinced there is some miracle system of making money and they want it. They are willing to get scammed a handful of times before they give up.

I knew when I started this blog that very few people would catch on and realize that I was giving away good information that could really help them make money with getting survey referrals. Oh, I hoped I was wrong and that a picture of a real big check on the front page might motivate some but so far I don’t think it has mattered.

People look at the check, say “that’s nice”, and then move on to the next blog after reading a couple sentences of mine. In the end, they would rather work at MacDonalds making $8.00 an hour than try to get backlinks to a blog. They understand flipping burgers at MacDonalds while they just don’t give a rats ass about backlinks, blogging, article writing, and link exchanges.

Some of the other people who come to this blog are hear purely to spam or to leave their CashCrate referral link. LOL LOL LOL. These jackasses don’t have a clue that the blog they are trying to spam (this one) can teach them how to make real money whithout having to comment spam. And they are too stupid to know that there is no chance in hell that their comment is going to get through. Do they really think I am so stupid to let their referral link through? No, they don’t bother to think about anything because spammers are stupid.

I always planned to make money with this blog. How? I know that most people won’t read much of what I write and they will want to leave. One of the reasons my posts are so long is to bore the hell out of people. For those who really care, there is good information in them worth reading. But for most, it will be a situation where they say “this is boring how do I leave?” and then they click on an ad.

Hopefully someday I will have Adsense on this blog and they will leave by clicking an Adsense ad. That is one way you can make money online. Bore people so that they click on your ads to get out. For others who are really interested in learning, maybe a few of them will sign up and try to learn.

Before any of that can happen though, I have to get some good targeted traffic to this blog and it has been difficult especially since I picked a few bad keywords to target. I think my keyword selection has been poor and there might not be as much potential in what I picked as I once thought. I will still keep plugging along with some of them though and I am close to the first page for “paid online surveys”.
